Ssekanyonyi Islamic orphanage in Uganda was started by Sserubiri Faiswal, Hassan Kavuma and Alitubeera Madina in 2019. What started out small has developed by Allah  into an orphanage encompassing a net work of an islamic school, children’s homes (orphanage), primary education, medical assistance, constant evangelistic out reaches, farming and much more.

In July 2019, the founders, Sserubiri faiswal who was a minor then went through the agony of losing both of his parents and other relatives to HIV / AIDS. Hope was regained when he met alitubbera madina and kavuma Hassan .we were given land by a deceased non muslim named the late kivumbi john to start up a mosque in this community of ssekanyonyi may ALLAH BLESS HIM for this.

He had been disturbed by the plight of many children in his community of ssekanyonyi Uganda, who had been neglected and abandoned. The young souls had no one and nowhere to turn to for help

The situation then prompted us to create a space athis home so that we could share what we had with the less privileged children in his community. We couldn’t bear to see them suffer after losing their parents.

This is where we stepped out in faith to minister the needs of the orphans, vulnerable children and the privileged families in this community. We had nothing but a small house where he started with (5) 20 orphans and 4 children who had been abandoned by their guardian.

Regardless of the hardship, ALLAH has used us to bring a smile and new opportunities to not only the children but also other needy people in his community. 

Ssekanyonyi Islamic orphanage Uganda that started in 2019 to shelter and educates children has miraculously undergone huge transformation in all areas. It has increased the number of children it accommodates and made improvements in the school facilities as well as local initiatives designed to generate income and ensure a sustainable future for the ministry.
